I am a PhD Candidate in Media and communication studies at University of Antwerp in Belgium. I am a writer and author of four publications in communication and economic studies and have had over 15 years professional experience in the fields of journalism, education, project management and poverty reduction. I have researched, written and delivered several academic articles on media studies, most specifically on press freedom, democratic role of the media and media governance.
