The HRHL program offered by the Center for International Humanitarian Cooperation is 6-day intensive course that aims to introduce participants to the origins and basic principles of human rights and humanitarian law, while discussing their functions within the distribution of aid relief. These concepts and skills are vital for aid workers to effectively conduct relief in accordance to all necessary procedures and protocols of their respective environments. During the course, examining different case studies will foster useful analytical learning skills that can be integrated in the students’ future field experiences and will enable students to gain more legal confidence in their aid work.
